You are who your friends are.

I have to admit… It still irks me a little bit when I realize, yet again, that my mom probably was right. Nonetheless, the little tidbit of wisdom that she used to keep me away from certain bad influences… I am going to use to urge you to get closer to certain good influences. Good creative influences!

“You are who your friends are.” This phrase certainly holds true in your creative life as well as your social life. If you truly want to foster your creative side, try to surround yourself with creative people. Creativity is the best catalyst for creativity! Sounds redundant, I know, but it is true!

So go out and surround yourself with creative people. If you need a starter, go ahead and look through my Twitter and Facebook friends. You can also go back through the old podcast episodes and the show notes will invariably link to some of the most creative people I know.

Now surround yourself with creative people and… go create something!

Helloooooo fellow Doodlers!

Yes, I know that it has been a loooooong time since there was any activity here at Ink ‘n Doodles Creative Workshop, but I hope that you’ve been keeping creative. The workshop’s gotten a little dusty and run down.  I bet that most doodlers don’t even remember that we’re here.  I’ve been living out my creative life vicariously through the artistic endeavors of my friends. Lame. I know… but it’s all I could muster.

So, if anyone is still out there, let me know! Leave a comment! Are you writing, drawing, singing, playing? Are you creating?

If you are here for the first time… or (like me) haven’t been back in a long time, go back and listen to the old podcasts… there’s lots of good stuff there.

Well, that’s it for now. I promise I won’t be away for too long this time.

Now… go create something!
